“Amanda went above and beyond for me when I experienced two weeks of prodromal labor. I was about to end up in a mental asylum from weeks of false labor and sleepless nights. She offered for me to come into the office to check things out and just give me some time to rest and relax while offering some positioning techniques to get baby going. Long story short three hours after arriving at the office our sweet baby boy joined us into the hands of Amanda. After he was born he had some troubles with nursing in the days following and Amanda graciously offered to come to my home to give me tips and tricks. She also made friends with my mom and gave her directions on how to encapsulate my placenta for me. 100% recommend Amanda! I’m just sad she doesn’t live close to me anymore.”

“I definitely couldn’t pass up this moment every single one of ya’ll made a fantastic team and a dream birth team. Every time I think about y’all or see y’all’s post I get so emotional and over joyed. I loved the way your big heart cared for me/took care of me, I wasn’t quick coming back into the game after birth and you literally was making sure I was eating and drinking things that were energizing. So much, that my food wasn’t cutting it for you that you gave me your energy bar when ever I kept getting dizzy, I just leaned on you and the way you just sat there and hugged me, I will never forget. Not to mention your sense of humor could light up any room! definitely helped me release some dopamine You helped make it such a smooth, fun, exciting, lovely experience. You and the rest of the ladies that helped will always hold a special place in my heart!”

“Amanda made sure that every step of my pregnancy and labor, that I felt loved, supported, empowered and in control. Even when things didn’t go as planned, she made sure I was still as comfortable as possible and advocated for myself and my son every step of the way. I couldn’t have gotten through labor without her. Truly, a Godsend. I cannot recommend Amanda or the services she offers to woman highly enough. My son is here today because of her, so I owe her my entire world. Thank you, Amanda, for not just being a midwife and doula, but a friend.”

“I remember transitioning, my water had broken, and I knew the midwife wasn't going to make it from Owensboro on time because things were moving too fast. You were the first one to arrive at my house and you found me in the bathroom...laboring away in the floor... Not the beautiful water tub I wanted to be in, but I was planted. I felt so reassured and calm when you arrived. Your voice was steady, encouraging, and gentle. You checked me and told me you could see baby's head. I didn't feel panicked...I knew you were up for the task. Even after a backup midwife arrived, you stayed in charge and it was your voice I remember and clung to for reassurance. You stayed completely calm, even though I knew it was tough to get a heartbeat to register and I had planted myself in a less than ideal location. You and the other ladies helped me finally get up and move to the tub... Hands underneath me as I waddled there. Baby came out quick in the tub and he was your first catch, but nobody would have known... You're just a natural. It wasn't just the birth that was special. The hours after and the next few days when you came back to do multiple checks and reflect and talk through the birth. It's a whole other level of care! There's no rushing...just genuinely being cared for emotionally and physically. You have an amazing bedside manner, beautiful humor and smile, and the best voice to hear during labor for support. So many babies and mothers are lucky to have you!”
